Floating Contact & Multi-Channel Chat Button for WordPress & WooCommerce

Vaslino helps site owners add a polished floating contact experience without relying on a hosted chat service. Configure a single destination, multiple contact channels, or a multi-agent WhatsApp support panel — and optionally add dedicated contact buttons below WooCommerce product forms.

International release. This documentation covers the marketplace build of Vaslino intended for CodeCanyon distribution. The supported contact destinations documented here are WhatsApp, Telegram, Instagram and direct phone links.

Requirements

Check your environment before installation.

WordPress6.0 or newer

Use a currently supported WordPress release whenever possible.

PHP7.4 or newer

A modern supported PHP version is recommended for security and performance.

WooCommerceOptional

Required only if you want Vaslino product-page contact buttons.

Vaslino does not require Elementor, a page builder, an external SaaS account, an API key, or a remote license service to render its contact buttons.

Important: If you download “All files & documentation” from Envato, do not upload the outer marketplace package to WordPress. Upload the installable Vaslino plugin ZIP contained inside it.

Installation

Install Vaslino through the WordPress admin area.

Open Plugins
In WordPress, go to Plugins → Add New Plugin.

Upload the installable ZIP
Choose vaslino-wordpress-plugin.zip (or the installable ZIP supplied with your purchase) and click Install Now.

Activate Vaslino
After installation completes, click Activate Plugin.

Open the Vaslino menu
A new Vaslino item appears in the WordPress admin menu. Open it to configure your contact experience.

Save and test
Configure at least one destination, save the settings, then test the button in a logged-out/private browser window.

A minimal working setup.

01Select a mode

Choose Single button for one destination or Multiple channels for a contact menu.

02Add a destination

Enable WhatsApp, Telegram, Instagram or Phone and enter the full destination link.

03Set position

Choose left/right, size, color and screen offsets.

04Choose an icon

Use a recommended icon, a bundled brand icon, or your own image.

05Save

Click Save settings and refresh the front end.

06Test mobile

Verify the contact destination and placement on both desktop and mobile.

Updating Vaslino

Keep your configuration while replacing plugin files.

Your saved options are stored in the WordPress database and are not removed during a normal plugin update. Before any production update, take a current site/database backup.

Recommended workflow: back up → install the new Vaslino build → confirm activation → clear page/cache plugins → test the front end and WooCommerce product pages.

Display modes

Vaslino provides three front-end contact experiences.

Single button

Displays one floating button that opens one configured destination directly. Activating a channel in this mode makes it the single active target.

Best for:WhatsApp-only or phone-only websites.

Multiple channels

Displays one main floating control with a set of configured contact destinations available to the visitor.

Best for:Sites offering WhatsApp, Telegram, Instagram and phone together.

Multi-agent support

Opens a support panel where visitors can choose from up to three support members and continue on WhatsApp.

Best for:Sales, technical support and customer-care teams.

Contact channels

Use full, valid destinations so the button works consistently across browsers and devices.

For web destinations, Vaslino accepts http/https URLs. Direct phone destinations use the tel: scheme.

Button appearance

Control placement, visibility and styling without editing plugin files.

Screen position

Choose Left or Right.

Button size

Set the main floating button between 36 px and 120 px.

Main button color

Choose the primary floating button background.

Channel icon color

Set the color used by contact icons inside the channel controls.

Animation

Choose None, Pulse, or Bounce.

Responsive offsets

Use the same placement everywhere or configure separate desktop/mobile bottom and edge offsets from 0–500 px.

Click sound

Enable or disable the interaction sound.

Device visibility

Hide the floating experience on mobile or desktop independently.

Tooltip

Set tooltip text, background color and text color.

Icons & custom image

Choose the visual style of the floating control.

Recommended icons

Use the curated icon choices included by Vaslino for common contact actions. This is the simplest option and keeps the visual language consistent.

Brand icons

Select a bundled free brand icon where available. The marketplace build does not depend on Font Awesome Pro.

Custom image

Enable Use a custom image instead of an icon, then choose an image from the WordPress Media Library.

Image guidance

Use a square transparent PNG/WebP with generous internal padding. A 256×256 or 512×512 source usually scales cleanly.

Multi-agent support

Let visitors choose the right WhatsApp contact person.

Select Multi-agent support as the Display mode. The panel supports up to three support members.

WhatsApp formatting: You may use a full WhatsApp URL or a phone number. For phone numbers, include the international country code and avoid extensions.

WooCommerce product buttons

Add up to two contact actions directly below the WooCommerce add-to-cart form.

Go to Vaslino → Product buttons, then enable the WooCommerce contact-button feature. WooCommerce must be active for these buttons to appear.

Two independent buttons

Enable either or both contact buttons separately.

Text & secondary text

Set a strong primary label plus supporting text such as “Chat with sales support”.

Contact link

Provide the destination URL or phone link for each button.

Status

Display an Online or Offline status label.

Avatar

Optionally show a support avatar selected from the WordPress Media Library.

Appearance

Customize background, border, icon and text colors independently.

Icon source

Choose a recommended or bundled brand icon.

Placement

Buttons render on single WooCommerce product pages below the add-to-cart form.

Responsive behavior

Keep the contact UI clear on desktop and mobile.

Set Responsive offsets to Separate desktop and mobile when your theme uses mobile sticky bars, bottom navigation, cookie controls, or other fixed-position UI.

Tip: If a mobile theme has a fixed bottom bar, increase Vaslino’s mobile bottom offset until the contact button no longer overlaps it.

Translations & RTL

Vaslino is translation-ready and ships with bundled language files.

Open Settings → General.
Change Site Language.
Save changes.
WordPress loads the matching Vaslino translation automatically when that locale is available.

The plugin text domain is quick-contact-vaslino. A POT template is included for translators who want to add or modify locales.

Privacy & data handling

Understand what Vaslino stores and what it does not transmit.

No plugin telemetry

The marketplace build does not send analytics, usage statistics or license information to a MarketWordPress server.

Outbound contact destinations

When a visitor clicks a configured channel, the browser opens the third-party destination you configured (for example WhatsApp or Telegram). Those services operate under their own privacy policies.

Uninstall behavior

By default, Vaslino keeps its saved settings when the plugin is uninstalled. This protects your configuration if you temporarily remove/reinstall the plugin.

To remove plugin options during uninstall, enable Delete all Vaslino settings when the plugin is uninstalled before uninstalling the plugin.

Custom CSS

Use theme-level custom CSS for small visual overrides.

Do not edit Vaslino plugin files directly. Plugin updates can overwrite manual changes. Prefer the built-in settings or your theme/child-theme custom CSS area.

Troubleshooting

Resolve the most common setup issues before opening a support request.

The floating button is not visible

Confirm that at least one destination is active and contains a valid link. Check Hide on mobile/Hide on desktop, clear all page/cache/CDN caches, and test in a private browser window.

A contact link does not open

Use a complete https:// destination for web services or a valid tel: phone link. Avoid unsupported URL schemes and incomplete usernames.

WhatsApp opens the wrong contact

Use the full international number, including country code. For wa.me links, do not include spaces, parentheses or local dialing prefixes that are not part of the international number.

The button overlaps a mobile toolbar

Enable separate desktop/mobile offsets and increase Mobile bottom offset or Mobile edge offset.

WooCommerce contact buttons do not appear

Confirm WooCommerce is active, the Vaslino product-button feature is enabled, at least one individual button is enabled, and its button text and contact link are not empty.

Changes are saved but the old style is still visible

Purge WordPress caching/minification plugins, server cache and CDN cache. Then hard-refresh the browser.

A translation does not load

Verify the WordPress Site Language matches the locale name of an included Vaslino translation and clear object/page caches after changing the locale.

Frequently asked questions

Quick answers for buyers and site administrators.

Does Vaslino require WooCommerce?

No. Core floating contact functionality works without WooCommerce. WooCommerce is needed only for the optional product-page contact buttons.

Does Vaslino require an API key?

No API key is required for the floating contact links or the standard multi-agent WhatsApp panel.

How many support agents can I add?

Up to three support members can be configured in Multi-agent support mode.

Can I use my own icon or logo?

Yes. Enable the custom image option and select an image from the WordPress Media Library.

Can I hide Vaslino on mobile or desktop?

Yes. Mobile and desktop visibility can be controlled independently.

Does the plugin track my visitors?

Vaslino itself does not include analytics or telemetry. Clicking an external messaging destination transfers the visitor to that third-party service.

Will uninstalling remove my settings?

Not by default. Data deletion is opt-in and must be enabled before uninstalling if you want Vaslino settings removed.
